Clara's Corner Organics Joins Amazon's Sustainability Accelerator

29 Jul 2026

We're thrilled to share some exciting news: Clara's Corner Organics has been selected as one of nine European start-ups joining the 2026 cohort of Amazon's Sustainability Accelerator, a nine-week programme designed to help early-stage brands scale responsible products and reach millions of customers. We were chosen from over 1,000 applicants from across Europe, a genuinely humbling number to be part of.

Now in its fifth year, the Accelerator provides founders with mentorship, e-commerce expertise, logistics support through Fulfilment by Amazon, and access to Amazon's sustainability tools, resources we're excited to put to work as we grow.

How the programme works

The nine weeks are structured around workshops covering everything from sustainable packaging to scaling e-commerce operations, bookended by two in-person gatherings. It kicked off with a Week 1 event in Amsterdam back in June, bringing all nine founders together for the first time, and will culminate in an in-person week in London from 27–29 July, where we'll present our progress and connect with the wider Accelerator network.

Why we were selected

At Clara's Corner Organics, we grow and formulate organic skincare made specifically for children, and packaging has always been at the heart of our mission. We use plant-based Shellworks Vivomer packaging, which biodegrades without leaving microplastics behind, a detail Amazon highlighted as part of why we made the cut this year.

Our founder, James Dashwood Chase, put it simply: "The ingredients are organic and grown in the UK, we make the product, we know exactly what's in it. That's what parents actually want, total transparency."

Good company

We're proud to be part of a cohort spanning personal care, food and drink, materials innovation, and circular design, alongside brands like Wasted ApS (pasta from surplus bread), Rollr (refillable deodorant), and Luna Daily (reusable body-cleansing spray). All companies asking the same question we ask every day: how do we make something the world needs without leaving more waste behind?

As Amazon's Xavier Flamand, VP EU Seller Services, said of this year's cohort: "Every one of these companies looked at something the world was throwing away... and saw a product worth making." For us, that's meant looking hard at packaging most brands take for granted, and proving that gentle-on-skin doesn't have to mean hard-on-the-planet.

Reflecting on the experience so far

"What's been genuinely exciting is being in a room with other founders who are all solving completely different problems, but with sustainability and the future of the planet at the forefront of everything they do," says Founder, Tor Dashwood Chase. "There's so much plastic everywhere, and it was amazing to see how impressed and excited everyone else in the cohort was about our compostable packaging, that's something we're really proud of, so it meant a lot to see it land with people who understand the problem so well."

"The whole programme has been so useful, and Amazon has clearly been such a good partner for us. We know how busy parents are, so being able to get our products into the hands of so many more of them is genuinely exciting. I can't wait to see what's next."
